Fugro Multi Client Services, Fugro-Geoteam and Fortum have reprocessed 3,744 kms of late 1980's vintage NPD data (VB87- and VB89- lines).

The reprocessed data is of a regional character, with some lines being more than 1,000 km in length. The reprocessing has considerably increased the resolution of the Lower Cretaceous and the Jurassic reflections. The Mid-Norway Regional reprocessed lines will become vital in any regional studies over an area expected to become an important focal point for the Norwegian exploration scene.

Some lines were processed for the first time down to 15 seconds record length. Original NPD processing was down to 8 second record length only.
