In the Santos basin, Fugro Multi Client Services has reprocessed a regional well tie survey which ties a majority of the wells in the basin. The reprocessed data provides a grid of approx 8 x 20km, with several ties up to the giant oil fields of the Campos basin. The data is reprocessed from a combination of raw migration and original field tapes. This involved reprocessing a variety of surveys in a similar manner and phase matching them both to each other and to the Fugro-Geoteam SPP99 regional 2D survey, in order to provide consistent ties over the entire basin. The surveys selected for reprocessing are the most modern vintages, with good acquisition parameters and active streamer lengths up to 5,700m.

The Grand Santos Basin Reprocessing, consists of 28,275 kms of 2D seismic data reprocessed from raw migration and a further 2,747 kms to be reprocessed from field tapes.
