Fugro
Multi Client Services have completed reprocessing
all of the open file 3Ds over the central Campos Basin
to form one 3D MEGACUBE, including the Phase II and
Phase III extensions. We are currently reprocessing
Phase IV of the project which includes surveys Sul
de Cabo Frio 9A (PSTM repro) and Marlim Sul 11A (poststack
repro). These surveys will be merged with the existing
grid, enabling oil companies to assess farmin opportunities
in the basin over both production and exploration
licences, and evaluate recently announced Round 7
acreage. New deeper plays in carbonate rocks have
now been verified by recent drilling, renewing interest
for exploring deeper targets in the entire Campos
Basin.
Phase
I reprocessing was completed partly from field tapes
(3,493 sq kms) and partly from stack (7,487 sq kms).
Phase
II reprocessing was also completed partly from field
tape using full 3D Kirchhoff Pre-stack Time Migration
(2,896 sq kms), and partly from stack (1,871 sq kms).
Phase
III reprocessing was completed from stack (4,185 sq
kms).
Phase
IV reprocessing was completed partly from field tapes
using full 3D Kirchhoff Pre-stack Time Migration (1,330
sq kms) and partly from stack (1,200 sq kms).
