Fugro
Multi Client Services, in conjunction with Greville
and Associates, has pre-stack reprocessed 6,612 kms
of early 1990 vintage data from several seismic surveys
acquired after the initial award of the ZOCA permits.
The project is located along the prolific
western portion in the Joint Petroleum Development
Area (JPDA) and the reprocessing focuses on the definitions
of the prospective sand units within the Plover Formation,
Malita Formation and the Flamingo Group. Several of
the wells, in particular Flamingo-1, penetrated good
reservoir sands units which up until now have not
been possible to define on the seismic data available
to date.
Several trial lines were completed to confirm that
sufficient improvements could be made to find these
sand units.
